Let’s travel back in time to the year 2012. The end of the world as predicted by the Incas never happened. Gangnam Style topped the charts and Spain won the Euros for the second time running—and there was no place anywhere in Vienna to sit down and talk about any of it.
So, we decided to create just such a place with JOMA. We drew inspiration from a handful of nice bistros, hip bars and cosy cafés we’d visited in all sorts of different cities around the world. Places where we could literally spend the entire day—at least in theory.
From breakfast and lunch to afternoon coffee breaks, dinner and a couple of drinks come nightfall, we wanted a place without a lot of pizzazz, but with tons of flair.
A place where we could have a business appointment scheduled right before a first date—without either seeming out of place. What’s our secret? That’s got to be the comfy ambience in JOMA. Whether it’s talking in private, celebrating, flirting or taking a much-needed timeout, people feel right at home in JOMA.
